“In the beginning was the Word…”
— John 1:1“…and the Word became a path.”
— me, now
There are moments when words don’t just describe a feeling — they become it. They shimmer, ache, and they reach into the marrow and say, I see you.
Elixir of Kalimat was born from such a moment — quiet, flickering, golden. It wasn’t a grand plan or a goal on a vision board. It was a whisper. There was an alchemical pull, a need, a crave even. The goal was to gather scattered fragments of thought, heart, and soul and hold them gently in one place.
What is the “Elixir”?
Elixir of Kalimat symbolizes the unification of opposites. It signifies the meeting of the west with the east. Moreover, it emphasizes the transformative power of words.
Elixir is a substance, usually a liquid. It was believed to turn non-precious metals into gold. It was also said to cure all illnesses and grant eternal life. The origin of the word is Latin, Arabic, and Greek. It symbolizes transformation, healing, and eternity.
Kalimat is an Arabic word, which means words. It is the plural for the word ‘Kalima’, which means word. I’ve chosen this title, Elixir of Kalimat, to highlight the idea behind the blog: Words shape and transform our reality.
An elixir is something rare — both remedy and revelation. It transforms. It heals not by force, but by resonance.
And Kalimat? Words, yes. But not just any words. Sacred speech. Spells in the old sense — utterances that shape worlds.
This blog is my attempt to blend the two: I aim to write words that matter. These words should shift and heal. Maybe, just maybe, they hold gold in their shadow.
It’s a place for the still-hearted, the wandering minds, the overthinkers, the soul-searchers.
It’s where I write to remember who I am — and maybe help you remember who you are, too.
What You’ll Find Here
Elixir of Kalimat is not a niche blog, not really. It’s a study in soft fire. A diary soaked in ink and dream. You’ll find:
- Reflections rooted in literature, mysticism, and the human condition
- Thoughts on language, meaning, and the metaphysical
- Aesthetic essays that taste like candlelight, coffee, and old books
- Writing that aims to be honest and authentic — not perfect
This is not a place for fast content. It is a place for slow revelation.
Why I Write
For a long time, I kept my reflections scattered in journals. Sometimes, they weren’t recorded at all. I was afraid they were too strange, too soft, too much. I grew up between outer silence and inner fever and intensity. Overall, Writing was the only way I can shape the chaos — to name the shadows, to touch the sacred.
Then something changed.
During an active imagination session, I experienced a vision. It is a Jungian Psychology technique that involves engaging with the ideas or imaginings of one’s mind. I saw a golden circle hovering above my head. It was spinning silently and radiant with presence. I knew then that a voice within me was ready to rise. This blog is part of that spiral. It’s where what I’ve seen inwardly finds breath and ink.
By day, I teach English — letters, sound, grammar. Language as structure. But here, I write the language of the soul. Not to explain — but to remember. To share the kind of words that unfold something in us. Something ancient, something soft, something true.
The Final Drop in the Elixir
If you’ve ever wandered through the shelves of your own mind and wondered where all the stories go —
If you’ve ever read a sentence that felt like it saw you —
If you’ve ever believed that words are holy —
Then this space is for you.
Welcome to Elixir of Kalimat.
Let the alchemy start.
And if something here stirs something in you — stay a while. Read, reflect, reach out.
Follow the path of words. Let’s walk it together.
And please know that you’re not alone in the labyrinth.
Every fortnight, a new elixir is poured— slow, thoughtful, potent. Join the circle of growing seekers by subscribing to our elixirs of thought to sip it first.
